Pigeon Park Press will be hosting an exciting one-off workshop.
“Comedy and Other ‘C’ Words – How to Write a Sitcom”
Keith R Lindsay will be running the workshop, bringing years of accumulated wisdom. He has written for on Birds of a Feather, Only Fools and Horses and The Green, Green Grass. He has also written for sketch shows and stand-ups.
Keith is a popular visiting lecturer on leading MA Screenwriting courses at both De Montford University and London City University.
We will be hosting this in Central Birmingham; we hadn’t seen a public workshop for this subject outside London, and we got lots of interest when we suggested it to local writers.
Over the course of this one-day workshop participants learn, hands on, how to build a situation comedy from the solid foundations of character upwards – a little like comic bricklayers.
We’re expecting this to be popular, so booking is essential!
